The Japan Society for Management Information (JASMIN) has local chapters in Hokkaido, Hokuriku-Koshinetsu, Tokai, Kansai, and Kyushu area. When a local chapter is founded, privileges including subsidy provisions are granted. The requirement for establishing a local chapter in an area is that more than 50 regular members and supporting members reside in the area. The local chapters develop activities suited to their local circumstances.
